The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ballkam Sportsklubb's Ray Ban got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute of the match Ruben Dolfo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Haugo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 41 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Dolfo. Casimiro Erramun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Lind in the 42nd minute. Casimiro Erramun was a little too slow when Tobias Lind got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Lind to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Ballkam Sportsklubb defense, Felipe Flores kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Haugo. The Ballkam Sportsklubb fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Haugo should have stopped the shot. Christoffer Langnes's late challenge caught a La Gallardeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christoffer Langnes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Ballkam Sportsklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoffer Langnes to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Danilo Liberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Narciso Matteo hit a great ball. Ballkam Sportsklubb's Johan Haugo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Ballkam Sportsklubb from getting a goal against them. Danilo Liberto was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
