Spectators: 563 (Terracing: 424, Seating: 129, VIP seats: 10) The audience was convinced that Danny Ross's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Linares was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Keith Featherstone was slow to take the kick. During this time Manchester United F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Conrado Linares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 26th minute of the match Manchester United F.C. got a corner. Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Keith Featherstone ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Keith Featherstone almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ibirama Futebol Clube's Conrado Linares did a great save. Conrado Linares came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester United F.C.'s Danny Ross. But to his dismay, Danny Ross quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fitz Bayne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 37 minutes, Percival Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibirama Futebol Clube and the Manchester United F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Manchester United F.C. booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martyn Patten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes of play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Luisão Sabóia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martyn Patten was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dennis Bibby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Ross could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Conrado Linares made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Manchester United F.C.'s Martyn Patten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Manchester United F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danny Ross in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Linares saved Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Ross in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Linares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute of the match Bill Black sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Linares skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Danny Ross sped through Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Linares. Danny Ross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, Manchester United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stew Locking to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Manchester United F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jordan Griffiths hit a great ball.

Manchester United F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
