With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Escerza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Zorros del Desierto's Abelardo Escerza got control of the ball when Abelardo Monico tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo Escerza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Vachon in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Pino in the 25th minute of play forced StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Teo Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's zone, Marco-Antonio Figueroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Bernaldo came out of the goal and Marco-Antonio Figueroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Vachon took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Escerza. Abelardo Escerza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 35 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Zorros del Desierto's Marco-Antonio Figueroa fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The supporters of StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Dighero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Teo Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teo Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Pino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Florian kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sergio Florian hit a great ball. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Teo Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Pino in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 76th minute, Zorros del Desierto's Eduard Dighero seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eduard Dighero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zorros del Desierto protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eduard Dighero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 77th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Dighero to maneuver through the defense. Zorros del Desierto's Damián Fouillioux was substituted for Darien Mantilla. When Zorros del Desierto's Camilo Pino in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalie prevented a goal. When Paulo Almi fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zorros del Desierto's protests and gave Paulo Almi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Almi to maneuver through the defense. Teo Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco-Antonio Figueroa in the 93rd minute. In the 101st minute of the match Vladimiro Barroso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teo Bernaldo skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Rafael Basulto got a free kick in the 105th minute. 106 minutes into the game, Sergio Florian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abelardo Escerza. Sergio Florian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 had won after a very even match.
