Lucio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Bide, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Daniel Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Benat in the 56th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Saverio Benat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Igon. Saverio Benat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Siro Endira replaced Delmiro Intxixu. 75 minutes into the match, Piquirenda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosendo Bide came free, but Lucio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Piquirenda FC's Saverio Benat started the play with his kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Sixto Oier could shoot a difficult shot in the 110th minute, which Lucio Cordearo however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Ilazki in the 112th minute of play. After 115 played minutes Campeones del Mundo got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Bide. With the score at 1-1, the referee blew for the end of the half. The players got a few minutes to recover before they had to start the second half of extra-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Benat got free with Daniel Igon in the 121st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 121 played minutes Campeones del Mundo got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Lucila. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Lauaxeta in the 124th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Lucio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 128 minutes into the game, Elias Emmanuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piquirenda FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campeones del Mundo the free kick. 128 minutes into the game, one of Piquirenda FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Campeones del Mundo a penalty, 129 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lindo Trollo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Piquirenda FC's Lucio Cordearo. 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Campeones del Mundo had played much better football throughout.
