An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopold Weijnants in the 7th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Tabb Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Van Maestricht sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Jaba Li hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giles Lanen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tio Cabezon in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ciruel Academy's Thomas Morera got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 19 played minutes Ciruel Academy got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Villanueva. The audience was convinced that Kraig McAlphie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tabb Barral was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Tio Cabezon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciruel Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciruel Academy's José Puyol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Giles Lanen. That made the score 2-0 after 26 minutes of play. 30 minutes into the game, Jose Meeus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Draconia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciruel Academy the free kick. 31 minutes into the game, Tio Cabezon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giles Lanen. Tio Cabezon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estebano Vuelta got free with Giles Lanen in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Draconia made a substitution. Florian Seveneijnts replaced Christian Van Maestricht. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tio Cabezon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Tio Cabezon notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Draconia's Giles Lanen. Giles Lanen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the game, Ciruel Academy's Estebano Vuelta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giles Lanen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. FC Draconia made a substitution. Etienne Langhmans replaced Kraig McAlphie. After a rather tough play, Ciruel Academy's Jaba Li got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Ciruel Academy got a freekick which was hit by José Puyol. In the 79th minute, Estebano Vuelta made a precise shot to the right of Giles Lanen. FC Draconia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Bartolomé Sabina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giles Lanen having to interfere. Ciruel Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Freddy Olemans scored to the left of an out of position Tabb Barral, making the score, 7-1. Paşa Bolas scored 8-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giles Lanen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
