POPULAR F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ganga Banga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hugon Lenertej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Chulapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 20th minute, Ganga Banga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in POPULAR F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! Sandro Paranaense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ganga Banga's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Sérgio Chulapa struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Hugon Lenertej didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POPULAR F.C. Sandro Paranaense came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SS SuperSonics's Korneliusz Panasewicz. But to his dismay, Korneliusz Panasewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 45th minute, Bogumil Misiorowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 46 played minutes SS SuperSonics got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Panasewicz.

The wind increased when Kauã Basile made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute POPULAR F.C were awarded a corner. Osmar Garcia went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Osmar Garcia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hugon Lenertej quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sandro Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ganga Banga, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 54th match minute, POPULAR F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Paranaense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ganga Banga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 55 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Ganga Banga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SS SuperSonics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for SS SuperSonics. Ganga Banga stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sandro Paranaense. 0-8. After some careless play in the POPULAR F.C defense, Ganga Banga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sandro Paranaense. The POPULAR F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sandro Paranaense should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ganga Banga got free with Sandro Paranaense in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Carlos Baiano hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Sandro Paranaense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Korneliusz Panasewicz in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gucci Gangstad in the 84th minute of play forced POPULAR F.C's goalkeeper Sandro Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandro Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gucci Gangstad in the 85th minute of play. Gucci Gangstad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sandro Paranaense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Sandro Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gucci Gangstad in the 93rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Korneliusz Panasewicz could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Sandro Paranaense however easily saved by the left post. When Ernesto Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored POPULAR F.C's protests and gave Ernesto Salgado a yellow card for diving instead.

When the match was over SS SuperSonics could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than POPULAR F.C throughout the match.
