Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Wilkenson to make the kick off. General Velásquez's Sergio-Roberto Livingstone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save General Velásquez from getting a goal against them. Máximo Acosta took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hjalmar Lind. Hjalmar Lind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. General Velásquez made a substitution. Delfino Mac Rostie replaced Hanamichi Sakuragi.

General Velásquez's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
