It was a penalty for MIRA -ŁÓDZ! Blaise Castera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Czeslaw Przybylo made a huge save. Émile Bieber kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Damazy Rukszcz managed to get in a good position for a shot. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Damazy Rukszcz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Auguste Lorre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Omar Suchet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Suchet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Czeslaw Przybylo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to MIRA -ŁÓDZ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Wiktor Birkenhagen hit a great ball. Auguste Lorre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Rukszcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Blaise Castera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Czeslaw Przybylo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blaise Castera in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of R.C. Marseille booed when MIRA -ŁÓDZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Birkenhagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, R.C. Marseille's Émile Bieber got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the MIRA -ŁÓDZ defense, Blaise Castera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Czeslaw Przybylo. The MIRA -ŁÓDZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Czeslaw Przybylo should have stopped the shot. Czeslaw Przybylo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blaise Castera's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blaise Castera in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Czeslaw Przybylo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When R.C. Marseille's Blaise Castera in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MIRA -ŁÓDZ's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd minute, Blaise Castera made a precise shot to the right of Czeslaw Przybylo. MIRA -ŁÓDZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 96th minute Omar Suchet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Czeslaw Przybylo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

MIRA -ŁÓDZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
