Cyber Attack's Désiré Verdy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Hellqvist in the 11th minute of play. Noël Bretagne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Schmeissen FC's goalkeeper Eddie Billvall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rayan Marin. After 16 minutes Schmeissen FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Noël Bretagne who took care of the corner kick. Désiré Verdy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Kielberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Cyber Attack's goal looked a bit too open when Stellan Kielberg came free, but Désiré Verdy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Cyber Attack got a freekick which was hit by Lionel Florent. When Johnny Mellbad came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Schmeissen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Mellbad couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute David Palmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Désiré Verdy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Cyber Attack got a freekick which was hit by Adil Barbey. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when David Palmer made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Stellan Kielberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schmeissen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stellan Kielberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnny Mellbad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Désiré Verdy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lionel Florent charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lionel Florent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lionel Florent hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Schmeissen FC's Désiré Verdy threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Palmer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 59 minutes of play Cyber Attack's Lionel Florent was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. David Palmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Mario Plouvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Valdemar Blom in the 67th minute really tested Désiré Verdy's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With an all-out effort, Schmeissen FC's Désiré Verdy threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Palmer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cyber Attack's goalkeeper Désiré Verdy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Walter Sefastsson with Johnny Mellbad as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Noël Bretagne's late challenge caught a Schmeissen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cyber Attack's Adil Barbey quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Agne Norberg, made in the 90th minute of the game. David Palmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Désiré Verdy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Cyber Attack's Harold Jouvet started the play with his kick off. Désiré Verdy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Beck in the 100th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Schmeissen FC's Claes Danielsson got a free kick in the 101st minute. 105 minutes into the match, Axel Beck notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cyber Attack's Désiré Verdy. Désiré Verdy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Schmeissen FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cyber Attack throughout the match.
