Angel Pierres started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Barcelona de América's Arturo Mina got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fabio Marines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Ixidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, Rejunte de perros's Ernesto Natanael got control of the ball when Calderón Palazuelos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rejunte de perros! Rejunte de perros:s Ernesto Natanael showed great skill when he stopped Espinola Ucles:s penalty. In the 12th minute, Espinola Ucles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Natanael was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Samuel Bazo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcelona de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Bazo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Natanael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Fe charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Fe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barcelona de América booed when Rejunte de perros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Fe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Natanael made an important save on a dangerous shot by Calderón Palazuelos in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edison Mendez got free with Ernesto Natanael in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Marines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Ixidor in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Fulgencio Ixidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Marines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Rejunte de perros got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Fagondo. Rejunte de perros's Ernesto Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pancho Leceta in the 45th minute of play. Ernesto Natanael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pancho Leceta, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pancho Leceta made the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pancho Leceta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona de América's zone, Fulgencio Ixidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Marines came out of the goal and Fulgencio Ixidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rejunte de perros's Ernesto Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Bazo in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th match minute, Barcelona de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palacios Rabel to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Ixidor struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Fabio Marines didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rejunte de perros. In the 64th minute, Fulgencio Ixidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Marines was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Edison Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edison Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Fabio Marines was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fulgencio Ixidor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play.

The Barcelona de América manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Rejunte de perros to win.
