Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kajetan Pasterski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Boguslaw Jaraczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute of the match. Stefan Gerlach charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Gerlach the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Zapniów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Gerlach to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The Zapniów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boguslaw Jaraczewski should have stopped the shot. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-4 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boguslaw Jaraczewski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Chile players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
