Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luo Wei Xi's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Klas Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Luo Wei Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
