Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andor Mester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andor Mester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Jakab Szekeres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szombathelyi Haladás's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Szombathelyi Haladás's Jakab Szekeres got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nándor Jászberényi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Szombathelyi Haladás's Andor Mester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Andor Mester despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andor Mester came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Andor Mester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Andor Mester made a huge save. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Szombathelyi Haladás's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivér Hegedűs in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Szombathelyi Haladás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. István Szőlősi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Ecuador booed when Szombathelyi Haladás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zsolt Lendvay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zsolt Lendvay kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andor Mester came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 65 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Andor Mester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsolt Lendvay kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andor Mester. Andor Mester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 72nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andor Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Szőlősi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Andor Mester. Szombathelyi Haladás's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Szombathelyi Haladás's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Andor Mester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Andor Mester was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
