Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Ivar Askelöf hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 9 played minutes JKs Talanger got a freekick which was hit by Octavian Basten. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Wallander saved JKs Talanger from getting behind. When Kjell Åkesson came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the JKs Talanger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell Åkesson couldn't finish the play. Walter Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Kjell Åkesson scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's Kjell Åkesson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of JKs Talanger booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Kjell Åkesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walter Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of the match. Kjell Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjell Åkesson made a kick off. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjell Åkesson went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. JKs Talanger made a substitution. Gösta Granberg replaced Kjell Åkesson. JKs Talanger's Kent Möller was substituted for Gunther Zapf. 69 minutes into the match, Gösta Granberg notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute, Gösta Granberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JKs Talanger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 74 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's Gösta Granberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Basten came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christodoulos Kyriakidis who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on JKs Talanger's corner Christodoulos Kyriakidis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. When JKs Talanger's Gösta Granberg in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Christodoulos Kyriakidis:s penalty. In the 94thth minute of the game Gösta Granberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Gösta Granberg sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. When the referee blew the final whistle, JKs Talanger could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
