In the 15th minute, Axel Montenegro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Silvestri. The goal made the score 1-0. Marco Silvestri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Carballar in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Cosimo Laudadio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. SPALLETTE RETURNS's Adriano Biagetti managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Cazalla in the 30 minute of the game. Cosimo Laudadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. In the 36th minute, Cosimo Laudadio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cosimo Laudadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Laudadio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Cosimo Laudadio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Marco Silvestri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosimo Laudadio was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Silvestri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luis Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Silvestri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Marco Silvestri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes SPALLETTE RETURNS got a freekick which was hit by Davide Guerrini. In the 76th minute, Ignacio Mastache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Colombia's Abram Secada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Silvestri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Abram Secada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Silvestri. SPALLETTE RETURNS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Secada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Cosimo Laudadio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 91st minute of play forced SPALLETTE RETURNS's goalkeeper Marco Silvestri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cosimo Laudadio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
