Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Niki Kalkandzhiev could save by the left post. In the 55th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niki Kalkandzhiev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Niki Kalkandzhiev in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niki Kalkandzhiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 61st minute of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Niki Kalkandzhiev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. With his leg Niki Kalkandzhiev managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niki Kalkandzhiev having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Джуджан's Velko Tuchev got a free kick in the 76th minute.
