Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Cícero Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Teles in the 62nd minute of the match. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Salem Gunners BK's Viggo Berggren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. After 95 played minutes Salem Gunners BK got a freekick which was hit by Cícero Teles. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prodromos Britzolidis having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Salem Gunners BK could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
