Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Mattin in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Lobo Urbasa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, 顾卫彬 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and 顾卫彬 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. 顾卫彬 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute.
