Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yetkiner Yasun in the 16th minute. FC Lutanu were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilie Cazacu took the corner. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Soneriu came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Irinel Soneriu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 34th minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Felix Montenegro sped through FC Lutanu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Irinel Soneriu. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irinel Soneriu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yetkiner Yasun to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Yetkiner Yasun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match FC Lutanu got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ilie Cazacu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Irinel Soneriu could save by the left post. Irinel Soneriu was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yetkiner Yasun in the 65th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Irinel Soneriu in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Irinel Soneriu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yetkiner Yasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Yetkiner Yasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Octav Romaşcanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Lutanu from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Romaşcanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Yetkiner Yasun came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Lutanu fans jumped to their feet.
