After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Olliver Van Meirhaeghe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berserkers FC Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Olliver Van Meirhaeghe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Juan-Ramón Verón put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. The Berserkers FC Ψ fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 25 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Juan-Ramón Verón came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Paraguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacobo Nores should have stopped the shot. With 37 minutes on the clock, Iker Tafalla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paraguay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! 39 minutes into the game, Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan-Ramón Verón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The tension between the Berserkers FC Ψ and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Berserkers FC Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Budulea to maneuver through the defense. Iosif Budulea kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Covarrubias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Ramón Verón in the 54th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan-Ramón Verón got free with Jacobo Nores in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Juan-Ramón Verón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Juan-Ramón Verón recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berserkers FC Ψ's Andres Lander shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jacobo Nores but with some difficulty. In the 80th minute, Juan-Ramón Verón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berserkers FC Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Berserkers FC Ψ made a substitution. Juan Ignacio Circelli replaced Juan-Ramón Verón. 85 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Txema threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli. But to his dismay, Juan Ignacio Circelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. Juan Ignacio Circelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Juan Ignacio Circelli, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 98 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jacobo Nores was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Berserkers FC Ψ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
