Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Romaşcanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Uncheşelu came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Yetkiner Yasun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irinel Soneriu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Yetkiner Yasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, FC Lutanu's Yetkiner Yasun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Yetkiner Yasun tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Yetkiner Yasun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Yetkiner Yasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Yetkiner Yasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Octav Romaşcanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lutanu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. When Yetkiner Yasun came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Lutanu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yetkiner Yasun couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Yetkiner Yasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irinel Soneriu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes FC Lutanu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Salvador Gisbert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Irinel Soneriu quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Irinel Soneriu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irinel Soneriu. Irinel Soneriu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When Robert Stârcea fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lutanu's protests and gave Robert Stârcea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Lutanu getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Robert Stârcea hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yetkiner Yasun in the 64th minute of play. FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lutanu from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yetkiner Yasun's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yetkiner Yasun, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 87th minute, Octav Romaşcanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Yetkiner Yasun came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Lutanu fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when FC Lutanu's Yetkiner Yasun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee ended the match the FC Lutanu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
