In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind SSC Napoli's goalkeeper Sakarias Bocklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute of the game Walter Lindholm made a throw-in which Gökçek Mutlutekin played forward. The audience was convinced that Manny Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Gökçek Mutlutekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. The Honduras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Honduras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
