Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFK Petržalka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Štefan Semeno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viktor Srnka in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFK Petržalka's attentive Viktor Seno managed to snatch the ball when Alonso Berganza made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Adam Obert got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Štefan Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Požgaj in the 36th minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomáš Požgaj in the 39th minute of play. Igor Bališ received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Igor Bališ slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomáš Požgaj to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Štefan Semeno. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Bališ in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Tomáš Požgaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFK Petržalka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michal Hudák's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Michal Hudák had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Hudák was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Balázs Borbély kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The supporters of Peru booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balázs Borbély didn't get a good kick on the ball. Štefan Semeno made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonso Berganza hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. AFK Petržalka were victorious despite being under pressure from Peru for much of the match.
