Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Tohias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Dogo Argentino's Mateo Tohias. Mateo Tohias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 14 minutes, Lino Corderall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dogo Argentino and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Lino Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Tohias. Dogo Argentino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Mateo Tohias. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mateo Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Tohias. Dogo Argentino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 30th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Tohias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Tohias came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Tohias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 48 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Tohias was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iker Foro made a kick off. Daniel Zorita scored 0-12 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Tohias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Dogo Argentino's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mateo Tohias came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 63rd minute of play forced Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Mateo Tohias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Errolan's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 70 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Tohias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. Mateo Tohias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Tohias. Dogo Argentino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-15. 76 minutes into the match, Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Mateo Tohias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. 78 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Tohias. Dogo Argentino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-16. Mateo Tohias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mateo Tohias. Mateo Tohias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Tohias having to make a save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Tohias having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Dogo Argentino's goalkeeper Mateo Tohias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho.
