Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. István Sipos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, FC Pierońskie Hanysy's Geovanni Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Pierońskie Hanysy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszek Sokol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Sipos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Román Verdeja kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. István Sipos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. István Sipos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Geovanni Araújo scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0. After having played for 36 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 39th match minute, FC Pierońskie Hanysy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Román Verdeja to maneuver through the defense. István Sipos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovanni Araújo to strike the kick off in the second half. Geovanni Araújo might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovanni Araújo ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 78 minutes, Lucjan Klimkiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pierońskie Hanysy and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Palacio got free with István Sipos in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. István Sipos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Palacio went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Ecuador played a much better game than FC Pierońskie Hanysy and deserved their victory. The FC Pierońskie Hanysy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
