Gigel Zăvoiu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihnea Arnăuțoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Gigel Zăvoiu in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Macovei in the 29th minute of play. MasterBets's Gigel Zăvoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th match minute, MasterBets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Arnăuțoiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th match minute, MasterBets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Ţurlău to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gigel Zăvoiu skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marius Macovei to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, MasterBets's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Gigel Zăvoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marius Macovei scored 1-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vedat Tuğlu's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vedat Tuğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Vedat Tuğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Macovei in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Mihnea Arnăuțoiu could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Gigel Zăvoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of the match. Vedat Tuğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Marius Macovei notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The MasterBets supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing MasterBets would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
