Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Chile's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fabien Canu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 9 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabien Canu. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Fabien Canu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunar Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabien Canu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Felix Garrido threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lunar Park's Esteban Alvarado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 18th minute of play. Orlando Casaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cedric Van Langhendoncx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cedric Van Langhendoncx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Fabien Canu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabien Canu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cedric Van Langhendoncx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lunar Park getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Esteban Alvarado hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabien Canu was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Lunar Park's Fabien Canu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Chile's Francisco Carballar got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabien Canu struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunar Park. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Lunar Park's Fabien Canu. But to his dismay, Fabien Canu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Fabien Canu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Lunar Park's goalkeeper Cedric Van Langhendoncx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Canu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Jose Manzanedo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The Lunar Park support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
