The goal made the score 2-0. 42 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abuzer Filiz. Vuitto 2019's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Vuitto 2019 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Niemojewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abuzer Filiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marco Tamayo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Marco Tamayo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. If Artur Zjawin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artur Zjawin's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Slawomir Banaszak during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 played minutes Vuitto 2019 got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Banaszak. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vuitto 2019 had won after a very even match.
