Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Gerlach in the 11th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Cibran in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvano Cibran in the 17th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Jaraczewski made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mithat Adıvar in the 20th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Boguslaw Jaraczewski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Silvano Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boguslaw Jaraczewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvano Cibran's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Silvano Cibran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zapniów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 43rd minute of play forced Zapniów's goalkeeper Boguslaw Jaraczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes, Francisco Carballar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the Zapniów players grew even worse after the yellow card.

If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chile's attentive Pedro Indiano managed to snatch the ball when Kjell Holmberg made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Orlando Casaus sped through Zapniów's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Boguslaw Jaraczewski. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boguslaw Jaraczewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Cibran in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Cibran came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute of play forced Zapniów's goalkeeper Boguslaw Jaraczewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boguslaw Jaraczewski having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, Zapniów's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Boguslaw Jaraczewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
