Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. Edvin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 4th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Green Hell F.C.'s Grigoris Grigoriadis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Day. Marco Day yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Grigoris Grigoriadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Green Hell F.C.'s Edvin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, USA's Cassius Byrne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin van der Sar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Edvin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Cassius Byrne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvin van der Sar having to make a save. 47 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s Grigoris Grigoriadis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Grigoriadis in the 51st minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zach Harrison hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Grigoriadis came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jenson Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Green Hell F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Edvin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Green Hell F.C. booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Grigoriadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, USA's Monty Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin van der Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Radomil Ogrodowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. After a rather tough play, Green Hell F.C.'s Radomil Ogrodowicz got a free kick in the 79th minute. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Green Hell F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jenson Smith was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. After 88 minutes Green Hell F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jenson Smith who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Khalid Parry to score against Edvin van der Sar in Green Hell F.C.'s goal. 2-2 after 88 minutes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 92nd minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Edvin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Sam Campbell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edvin van der Sar. That made the score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
