An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Pasterski in the 29th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lautaro Mancebo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mexico booed when Zapniów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 51 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boguslaw Jaraczewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Gerlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Gerlach in the 57th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell Holmberg hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 70th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Jaraczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Zapniów's Kjell Holmberg got a free kick in the 74th minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Jaraczewski having to interfere. The Mexico supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zapniów's performance. The match ended with a win for Zapniów.
