Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Alican Sungurbay took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's İnanç Asutay got a free kick in the 11th minute. Okan Akdoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alican Sungurbay in the 19th minute of play. Okan Akdoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Raik Özdeners short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Okan Akdoğan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alican Sungurbay in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Alican Sungurbay put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's Battal Özguc got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After having played for 48 minutes, Raik Özdener managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raik Özdener was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alican Sungurbay was the one to do the kick off. Okan Akdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 56th minute of play. Okan Akdoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kubat Hazer fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's protests and gave Kubat Hazer a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raik Özdener, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute Alican Sungurbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Okan Akdoğan in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by İnanç Asutay during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abdulvahit Tunç made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Raik Özdener. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 95th minute. ESKİŞEHİRSPOR were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
