Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Horia Ostoici showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Horia Ostoici didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Surdu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horia Ostoici came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horia Ostoici didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 22nd match minute, ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Moșoiu to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Rareș Ghionaru got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horia Ostoici was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Horia Ostoici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita scored 0-3 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Ostoici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costel Busuioceanu to make the kick off. Avram Aluculesei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 61st minute. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Busuioceanu's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Horia Ostoici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute of play. Rareș Ghionaru kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆'s Rareș Ghionaru got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horia Ostoici was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Horia Ostoici made a huge save. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horia Ostoici having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 0-5 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horia Ostoici, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rareș Ghionaru was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Ghionaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ☆☆AC☆☆TG-OCNA☆☆ throughout the match.
