Sokol Narev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 5th minute of the match. Monty Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fabian Brown hit a great ball. Laércio Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Marco Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunkens Surtröjor. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Sunkens Surtröjor's Sokol Narev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute of play. Cassius Byrne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frans Alström in the 31st minute. Laércio Coutinho made a great header on Sunkens Surtröjor's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Blom to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Frans Alström made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sunkens Surtröjor were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laércio Coutinho took the corner. Sunkens Surtröjor's Eugeniusz Tomporowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sokol Narev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, USA's Cassius Byrne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. In the 95th minute Anton Galle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Laércio Coutinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. USA played a much better game than Sunkens Surtröjor and deserved their victory. The Sunkens Surtröjor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
