Peter Sparks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 3rd minute of play. Tomas Berganza scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Sparks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilário Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Miradeses FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Peter Sparks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. The long shot by Jerónimo Pais in the 15th minute really tested Marcos Cotilla's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 18th minute Alex Cambeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Sparks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Peter Sparks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Cotilla stood somewhat misplaced when Morris Zemp came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 27 minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miradeses FC's Peter Sparks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo De Jong stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Felipe Ros fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Felipe Ros a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. After having played for 54 minutes, Eliseu Prates managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miradeses FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Prates was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Sparks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the Miradeses FC defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Sparks. The Miradeses FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Sparks should have stopped the shot. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morris Zemp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miradeses FC made a substitution. Júlio Durães replaced Almiro Amaro. After a rather tough play, Miradeses FC's Eliseu Prates got a free kick in the 87th minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morris Zemp in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Panama players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Miradeses FC.
