Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Irinel Soneriu made a huge save. 4 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 5th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on FC Lutanu's corner Ilie Cazacu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Lutanu's Irinel Soneriu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 11th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octav Romaşcanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Octav Romaşcanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Soneriu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Irinel Soneriu made a huge save. After having played for 32 minutes, Yetkiner Yasun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lutanu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yetkiner Yasun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Irinel Soneriu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Irinel Soneriu. That made the score 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 50th minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 51st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FC Lutanu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Irinel Soneriu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 54th match minute, FC Lutanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Romaşcanu to maneuver through the defense. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irinel Soneriu. Irinel Soneriu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Irinel Soneriu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. FC Lutanu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ilie Cazacu in the 66th minute. The corner led FC Lutanu's Emilian Brădescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Irinel Soneriu came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 78th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Soneriu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yetkiner Yasun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Octav Romaşcanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
