Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haşim Hürol. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Elazar came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Elazar in the 7th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Elazar in the 10th minute of the match. Nektarios Vrachopoulos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jardel Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Elazars short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Tasis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. YeniMalatyaSpor's Jardel Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 28th minute of play. Mauro Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Elazar in the 30th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mauro Elazar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Nektarios Vrachopoulos notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volkan Tuner in the 40th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Mauro Elazar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. The corner ended in Lautaro Puig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but YeniMalatyaSpor's Jardel Carvalho did a great save. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Haşim Hürol came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Elazar in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Mauro Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Mauro Elazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The YeniMalatyaSpor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The supporters of YeniMalatyaSpor booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Haşim Hürol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Elazar in the 71st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
