With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelillo Di Maria. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Angelillo Di Maria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joar Frisck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Joar Frisck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Hernaiz in the 35th minute of the match. FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 37th minute of play. Milagros Fraga took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joar Frisck. Joar Frisck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ildefonso Paulin made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Joaquin Prats. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Hernaiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The FC NORDLAND players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peru were winning 0-1.

With an all-out effort, Peru's Joar Frisck threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luz Tejedor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 70 minutes of play, FC NORDLAND's Rhys Hughes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Milagros Fraga hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joar Frisck. FC NORDLAND's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. FC NORDLAND made a substitution. Birger Benett replaced Rhys Hughes. FC NORDLAND's Bautista Baumgartner was substituted for Christof Mehlbaum. In the 93rd minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.
