Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Nunez Amato started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Hansted in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oliver Hansted who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Christoforos Staboulis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 6th minute, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Nunez Amato dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Nunez Amato in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nunez Amato's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 18 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Chocholatý having to make a save. Martin Chocholatý showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Hansted, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quin Nobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Nunez Amato could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Amato got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Vamvakas in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 minutes, Quin Nobo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO got a freekick which was hit by Quin Nobo. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martin Chocholatý having to make a save. After a rather tough play, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Quin Nobo got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Chocholatý made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute Nunez Amato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Hansted in the 81st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Chocholatý showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Hansted in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Chocholatý breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Chocholatý showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Amato in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
