Rigan Frankson started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rigan Frankson in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Aalberts. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 13th minute of play forced CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's goalkeeper Vincent Aalberts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Rigan Frankson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Celestino Garaile in the 19 minute of the game. After having played for 22 minutes, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Mina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthony Alvarado made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moises Gayoso immediately put the ball in play. 26 minutes into the game, Peru's Milagros Fraga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent Aalberts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Vincent Aalberts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. Vincent Aalberts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of the match. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 39th minute. Eliseo Mina made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's Vincent Aalberts managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 42nd minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincent Aalberts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Vincent Aalberts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ were furious when Krister Nordström was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 51st minute there was a penalty for Peru. Luz Tejedor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vincent Aalberts. 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 60th minute of the match Peru got a corner. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Milagros Fraga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vincent Aalberts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Domingo Lucero kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincent Aalberts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's goalkeeper Vincent Aalberts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. After having played for 69 minutes, Rigan Frankson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigan Frankson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
