Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) GD Serra da Vila's Sebastião Paião started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leron Sale to maneuver through the defense. Leron Sale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saidi Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Saidi Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Finlay Stair in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 10 minutes, Romon Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romon Oliver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GD Serra da Vila's Saidi Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarell Hill in the 11th minute of play. Jarell Hill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saidi Costa having to interfere. In the 19th minute Finlay Stair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saidi Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to GD Serra da Vila getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. David Torcato hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Romon Oliver ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saidi Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Finlay Stair's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saidi Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Geroy Ascue sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saidi Costa skillfully saved the ball. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Finlay Stair was the one to do the kick off. If Romon Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Finlay Stair took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saidi Costa. Saidi Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 58 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Kordal Duff. Romon Oliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquiles Abel hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Sebastião Paião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to Jamaica getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Romon Oliver hit a great ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Jarell Hill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarell Hill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leron Sale struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Saidi Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jamaica. In the 81st minute Sebastião Paião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GD Serra da Vila's zone, Finlay Stair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saidi Costa came out of the goal and Finlay Stair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Geroy Ascue.
