Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Benito Naldo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Ernesto Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Gol in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Madison got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Lesardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Madison fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Madison's Ás Ronaldo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Madison getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mete Gol hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ás Ronaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ás Ronaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 20th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Ernesto Emmanuel and just under the crossbar into goal. Primitivo Andino made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Felix Montenegro. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ege Træet kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Madison's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Emmanuel came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Madison getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Leo Lesardo hit a great ball. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Madison's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Ernesto Emmanuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Ás Ronaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Naldo in the 57th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ege Træet hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henri Ladva in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Gol in the 66th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Naldo's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Benito Naldo's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Naldo helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Benito Naldo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ás Ronaldo in the 78th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Lesardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Madison's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Naldo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. If Benito Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ernesto Emmanuel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 86th minute. Mete Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Madison's Ernesto Emmanuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Madison from getting a goal against them. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
