AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neal Messer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Verdu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 10th minute of the match. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Alejandro Verdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 13th minute of play. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Alejandro Verdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, USA's Cassius Byrne made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejandro Verdu was left in no man's land by his defense there! F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Alejandro Verdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jenson Smith in the 39th minute of play. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bubu Denat in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 45th minute of play forced F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goalkeeper Alejandro Verdu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Boye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Alejandro Verdu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Marco Day stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bubu Denat's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 73rd minute Marino Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marino Ramos scored 1-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Sam Campbell notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Alejandro Verdu. Alejandro Verdu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Gică Popescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jenson Smith, made in the 87th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Bubu Denat came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Sam Campbell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Alejandro Verdu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sam Campbell went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. USA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
