Elpidio Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Elpidio Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Elpidio Ursino sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Adam Kiepski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Kiepski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Kiepski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of play forced Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goalkeeper Adam Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Israel Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Adam Kiepski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Adam Kiepski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Adam Kiepski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Ursino made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goalkeeper Adam Kiepski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adam Kiepski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Jonatan Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Kiepski skillfully saved the ball. Adam Kiepski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Elpidio Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Ursino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Elpidio Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Adam Kiepski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 69th minute of play. Elpidio Ursino might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Ursino ran back to his position shaking his head. 79 minutes into the match, Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s goalkeeper Adam Kiepski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Quien Te iba a Decir.....'s Jonatan Malvin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 88 minute of the game. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Adam Kiepski made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Venezuela had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
