After a rather tough play, Peru's Julian Murillo got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bancruz F.C's Ciro Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play. Ciro Nerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgay Hafi in the 23rd minute of play. Turgay Hafi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Rolando Noboa 23 minutes into the match.
