Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Dibala took the kick off in the first half of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Suipacha FC's Justino Stanislao. Justino Stanislao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Dibala in the 25th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Suipacha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Justino Stanislao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pablo Zabaleta fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suipacha FC's protests and gave Pablo Zabaleta a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Suipacha FC's Pablo Zabaleta got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Paulo Dibala who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Dibala in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Suipacha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasyl Borcz to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th match minute, Suipacha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tor Lönn to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Justino Stanislao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Justino Stanislao made a huge save. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suipacha FC. 91 minutes into the match, Paulo Dibala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Dibala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 94thth minute of the game Preston Keato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Suipacha FC throughout the match.
