Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Aparicio Ladra made the kick off and thus started the match. Abelardo Macías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of play. Pietro Echavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Abelardo Macías showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 minutes Plaza Babys CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Abelardo Macías tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Plaza Babys CF got a freekick which was hit by Pietro Echavarri. After 28 played minutes Plaza Babys CF got a freekick which was hit by Roi Morales. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play forced Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Abelardo Macías to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Macías, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Macías was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yasin Saleh in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Yasin Saleh took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edward Golec during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Plaza Babys CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Golec didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Abelardo Macías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 52nd minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Abelardo Macías was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abelardo Macías quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Abelardo Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abelardo Macías made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Macías saved Plaza Babys CF from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Yasin Saleh got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 75 played minutes Plaza Babys CF got a freekick which was hit by Yasin Saleh. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aļģis Engers struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaza Babys CF. The audience was convinced that Bo Kristiansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Bo Kristiansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Abelardo Macías was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5.
