After some careless play in the México Eterno MZC defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jailson Aparecido. The México Eterno MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jailson Aparecido should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristide Ciuvică got free with Rolando Noboa in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Aristide Ciuvică got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-1. México Eterno MZC's Jailson Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 27th minute of play. Jailson Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jailson Aparecido came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Ciuvică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Ribas in the 44th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diego Ribas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 44 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Jailson Aparecido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Ciuvică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Ribas struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for México Eterno MZC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieter Gamache in the 62nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jailson Aparecido saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joaquin Prats could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jailson Aparecido made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Ciuvică in the 73rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When México Eterno MZC's Aristide Ciuvică in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jailson Aparecido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Jailson Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jailson Aparecido. That made the score 3-4 in the 92 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Rafael Gallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jailson Aparecido was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
