Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Xesc Labarra came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Chacarita Futsal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xesc Labarra couldn't finish the play. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Xesc Labarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xesc Labarra in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Esteve Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesc Labarra in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Xesc Labarra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chacarita Futsal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 27th minute Esteve Paublo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Xesc Labarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Xesc Labarra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Xesc Labarra made the kick off in the second half. Xesc Labarra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Xesc Labarra sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Miguel Ángel Santoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 62nd minute Xesc Labarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Ángel Santoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chacarita Futsal's Arild Nodland was substituted for Esteve Paublo. After 65 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. In the 71st minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xesc Labarra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Xesc Labarra came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Chacarita Futsal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xesc Labarra couldn't finish the play. Chacarita Futsal made a substitution. Modesto Acevedo replaced Segundo Jacindo. The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chacarita Futsal's Moises Cayo. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Perez in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arild Nodland went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arild Nodland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Evaristo Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Chacarita Futsal's Evaristo Perez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-7 after 97 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Chacarita Futsal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezuela.
