The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Aquiles Ellande despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Zoltán Battai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zoltán Battai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 34 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Ellande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Egoitz in the 38th minute of the match. Piara Gerli scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Demesio notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half VAMO ARRIBA were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by VAMO ARRIBA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Zoltán Battai kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Piara Gerli. In the 63rd minute Rene Egoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VAMO ARRIBA were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alonzo Gartxot took the corner. The corner led to VAMO ARRIBA's Ezequiel Demesio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When VAMO ARRIBA's Piara Gerli in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
